National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR)

Administration for Community Living (ACL) | NIDILRR sponsors grantees to generate new disability and rehabilitation knowledge and promote its use and adoption.
ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities

2009 edition | A nationally recognized standard of technical requirements for making buildings accessible. Published since 1961, it is referenced by many federal documents and state accessibility laws. The IBC also references the ICC/ANSI A117.1.
Division of State Architect

Provides design and construction oversight for K–12 schools, community colleges, and various other state-owned and leased facilities. The Division also develops accessibility, structural safety, and historical building codes and standards utilized in various public and private buildings throughout the State of California.
